Don't mess with her, it's not worth it!  :0)

Hello again, here's another FREE Steampunk digi download which I hope you'll like.
These two are a couple of freaky vampires with zany wild hair and Steampunk outfits, both surrounded by Steampunk style frames!

I did originally make these for Halloween but as vampires seem to be all the rage at the moment I thought I'd share them anyways!

There are two versions -

A plain Digi HERE
and a coloured Digi - HERE

Hope you have some fun with them.

For this cute 5x5 card I used 2 of Amanda's beautiful new range of TANGERINE TANGO FLOWER papers. Which you can find HERE.

The "ribbon" is also part of the set.

I used Stampin' Up's bird punch after stamping a piece of card first with a florish stamp in a mango(ish) colour and used foam pads to layer him up.

Then I just added some fabric and punched flowers.

I hope you like it. :0)

I thought this cute Digi by Amanda would make a great card topper, if you'd like her you can get her HERE

I coloured the image digitally to match the Dot Pastel backing Paper (which I really like) also by Amanda. HERE.

After making a sentiment I printed the whole thing off on a sheet of "Whisper White" card and assembled the 6"x6" card.
I then simply added a small flower and some gem "buttons".

I hope you like it :0)

I used Amanda's FREE Digi stamps, available from her A.J.s Digi Shoppe, to make this sweet little card.

By using pink and yellow as the main colours as I thought it would make it fresh looking.

I simply coloured and printed the digi's and attached them to the card, the flowers were then punched out and attached using foam pads.

I hope you like it :0)

Aloysius loves Easter Time, besides getting tons of chocolate Easter eggs from his best friend Molly he also gets to play with the newly hatched chicks in the barn.

While Molly's away at school Aloysius spends his time babysitting the chicks and they just adore him, with his long neck and funny little wings they consider him part of the family, kinda like a large misshapen green chicken (who sometimes breathes fire when he gets over excited)  :0)
As usual there are two versions of  this digi -
An UNcoloured version in PDF format HERE
And a coloured version in PDF format HERE
I hope you like it,
Have a lovely Easter everyone!

I made this 5"X5" card using Amanda's wonderful Striped Paper Pack, which you will find HERE.

I Printed off the papers together with her free "Missing You" sentiment which you can download HERE together with some of her other freebies.

After colouring the sentiment I realised I didn't have the right colour flowers but DID have some plain white ones which I coloured using my Promarkers.

The "Ribbon" was made by running a matching piece of paper through a crimper.
The leaves were punched in dark green flock using a "Stampin' Up" punch.

I hope you like it.

"DRINK ME" Alice in a bottle

I had this little bottle sitting in the top of a cupboard for some time and just knew it would be handy for something. :0)

So I printed off Amanda's cute digi of Alice onto card and glued her to the inside of the bottle, then printed off a tag onto white card and aged it using an ink pad. I then drew and stuck a small door onto Amanda's "Drink Me" backing paper.

I wonder if the bottle Alice is holding has a smaller version of her in it !?

Curiouser and curiouser!

I hope you like it.

A friend of mine recently asked on Facebook if anyone had a stamp or digi of an expectant mother with hubby holding her belly.
There didn't seem many out there so I drew this one for her and decided to share it on my blog just in case anyone else is looking for the same.

The original pen drawing is only about 3 1/2 inches high so I wouldn't advise enlarging it more than about 5" or it might look a bit strange.

I hope someone out there can make use of it.

Put On A Happy Face

I made this 6" circle card using Amanda's cute Cheshire Cat digi -
available HERE.

The background paper is also from Amanda's collection and is called "Dot Pastel" paper pack -
available HERE.

After colouring the elements digitally I printed them off together and assembled them together using foampads on a round card. I cut a small piece from the bottom of the card to make it stand up.

I lastly added Clear gloss to his nose, eyes and a little to his tongue to give them dimension.

Hope you like it :0)

Aloysius is a bit under the weather, Molly must have been feeding him too many sweets, as she does tend to spoil him!
Still, he has hot soup and his favourite teddy so he should be feeling better very soon.
I thought this would make a cute (if not unusual) topper for a "Get well soon" card.

Steampunk Box Card

This is a 5"x7" card I made using "PhotoScape" a free online photo editing software.

One of it's features is "Make a box"  filter, which I've used here to make the flat card look like a 3D box.
After designing and saving the picture (sentiment and Steampunk lady on a brown background)  I opened it up in PhotoScape and used the "Make a box" filter.

I then printed off and cut out the finished card and stamped it using HOTP's "Timeless" and "Masculine Collage" rubber stamps, I used Tim Holtz "Walnut Stain" distress ink as I didn't want a sharp outline.

From afar it looks just like a real box yet it's flat! A cool Trompe L'Oeil effect.

I made these two cards yesterday using only HOTP papers and stickers.

Who better to put on a Valentine's card than the Queen Of Hearts!

This little lady is from Amanda's cute NEW "Alice In Wonderland" range of digi's, which also includes Alice, The Mad Hatter, The Cheshire Cat and the Caterpillar.

Click HERE to see them all.

I used a 5"x7" white gate fold card, covered it with Amanda's "Alice In Wonderland" background paper, then went around the edge with an inkpad.

Then I cut a large heart and again went around the edge with an inkpad before gluing it to the front of the card, the Queen was attached with foam pads and I used glossy accents on the heart head dress and her scepter.

After adding some moving eyes and the heart shaped confetti around her head I finished it off with the sentiment.

Inside the card I added a close up of the Queen and a pun about losing your head, that's what she famous for after all!

I hope you like it

This is a money/gift voucher card I made today using rubber stamps and papers from HOTP
The Steampunk girl picture is part of a set of Steampunk digi's I've been working on recently. Although you can't really tell fom this picture I've used glossy accents on her eyes, lips, glasses and a few of the coloured cogs to make them pop!

I hope you like it

I had an idea last month for a digi set, This is the first one and and thought I'd share with my "crafty" friends to see/use.

Whilst out playing little Molly Mayhew found a baby dragon in an old tree stump, carried him home and spoilt him rotton.
To her he was just like a big ol' puddy cat.
Aloysius decided to stay, because although Molly could be boisterous with him sometimes, the rewards made it all worth while!

No I'm not too late, nor too early, I drew this last year for Halloween, then over wrote the digi file with this coloured version by mistake - DOH!!
So rather than just delete it altogether I've just finished colouring it and decided it might make a card topper or something that you clever crafter s might make use of.

Have you made your Valentine's Day card(s) yet ?

If you're like me then you usually leave it to the last moment !

So I'm well in time for it this year.

For this 5"x5" card I've used Amanda's gorgeous new heart papers as a background for her "Hey diddle diddle" cow digi stamp.

After printing off the two papers I applied them (cut diagonally) onto my card.

I made a white circle with a red trim on which I printed the sentiment then decoupaged the cow on top using foam pads. adding glossy accents to the eyes and little heart, then used Sakura gloss over the text to make it pop!

I hope you like it.

HOW old ?

A simple, effective and slighty evil 6"x6" card using Amanda's Laughing Dog from her "HEY DIDDLE DIDDLE" range.

I coloured him digitally and added some text onto the background papers which are also from Amanda, I've used two of the blue hues from her "DOT PASTEL PAPER PACK"

After printing off the papers and dog I simply cut out the little fellow and used foam pads to lift him off the page.

Lastly I added some Clear gloss Sakura to the black text to make it stand out more and some 3D Lacquer over his nose and pads.
